Hello, I am Natasha Schaffer, a Track and Field athlete in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I am currently a junior at Prairie Ridge High School, graduating in 2018. My two main events are Long and Triple Jump. I took 1st place in both events in the McHenry County meet, jumping my personal best in Long Jump of a 17’11.25†and Fox Valley Conference meet, breaking the meet record with a 37’7†in Triple Jump. The next week at Huntley sectionals I earned another win in Triple Jump with 38’ 6â€, my personal best and took 2nd in Long Jump.

Academics are another priority and I maintain a 4.0 GPA. My goals for upcoming meets are to jump above 19’0†in Long Jump and above 40’0†in Triple Jump. My ultimate goal is to compete in college track. My work ethic would make me a great asset to a college team because I refuse to give anything less than my best every day. Additionally, I bring a positive attitude and enjoy cheering my teammates on. Academically, I would bring a strong desire for knowledge and creative outlook on life. Outside of the classroom, I continue to broaden my experiences through my involvement in German National Honor Society, Captain’s Counsel, Future Business Leaders of America, and Girls High School Basketball team.
